Hello. I'm Moses, a 4th year raised bed and container gardener. I'm in zone 9A/8B in Northern Florida. I primarily grow vegetables to feed my family. But I also do it for relaxation and joy. Gardening connects me to nature and it allows me to give back to nature. It also allows me to connect to those that are interested like me. It's rewarding and good for the mind, body, and soul. We are beginning to see food shortages, which makes all the more important that we are able to be self-sufficient by growing common items that we normally eat instead of expecting it to be at the local grocery store. Inflation, high-demand, low supply, and knowing how your food is being grown are just a few reasons why we should grow, grow, grow!!
